Overview of job 
You will develop strong communication recommendations across channels and brands that deliver great results for your client. You will be the trusted advisor and partner for your clients, internal team and media partners to deliver industry best practice 360 degree planning.
 
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Business Director.

Measures of success –
In 3 months:
  • Get up to speed with the client’s business and competitor landscape for the client’s industry
  • Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day activities
  • Familiar yourself with internal processes and way of working of all accounts
 
In 6 months:
  • Working with Business Director in crafting communication plans
  • Be able to propose ideas and activities to answer brand challenges, manage client budget and investment strategy across all media platforms
  • Be knowledgeable of the agency’s planning tools and framework.
 
In 12 months:
  • Drive the client business and lead projects independently along with team
  • Staff supervision, training and development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard
 
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Manage all aspects of campaigns and day-to-day needs of the accounts, handling from briefing through reporting. It will include understanding of client’s brief to communication planning, leading meetings with clients, setting viable objectives and KPIs, recommend/develop measurement methodology against all briefs, monitoring campaign progress and reporting.
  • Develop and build relationships with clients, be the trusted advisor on account requirements and work.
  • Work with media partners across different platforms for ideation, negotiation and implementation as well as working with internal specialist resources and group resources.
  • Facilitate cross-team learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentoring the team and work with them on KPIs and performance appraisals.
  • Drive innovative media solutions for set of portfolio.
 
What you will need:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as hybrid media planner.
  • Proven track record on the execution and development of media and digital strategies for clients
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong relationship building skills which include maintaining positive client relationships
  • Detailed oriented, strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
