Requirements:
  • This position progresses beyond just extracting data to actively assessing, preparing summaries and presenting key highlights and insights as needed with the goal of delivering comprehensive, actionable market and consumer insights that drive growth opportunities, inform segment and category strategies, guide innovation and differentiate our company in the marketplace
  • Work alongside planning teams to create presentation storylines for client, internal, and new business projects that drive consumer, cultural and brand understanding
  • Working alongside planning and analytics teams, contribute to the development of campaign-specific and long-term measurement frameworks and roadmaps by identifying Business Intelligence tools that can effectively address specific measurements.
  • Build and maintain respectful cross-team, cross organization (GroupM and other OpCos), agency partner and client relationships by demonstrating your ability to be responsible, reliable, and resourceful.
  • Build familiarity and understanding of marketing research measures (such as brand health, NPS, ad tracking, awareness tracking, audience segmentation, qualitative surveys and focus groups, etc) and the vendor partners who conduct such studies (Kantar, Ipsos, Millward Brown, etc) 
  • From time to time, this role may need to train staff on syndicated and proprietary research tools and systems, manage day to day questions
  • Foster, advocate, and inspire the adoption and utilization of tools amongst all Mindshare employees
  • Actively contribute to new business initiatives, lending expertise and skills as required.
  • Build scope of work estimates, manage monthly billing, manage revenue tracker with finance
  • Guide and mentor junior team members and/or media planning teams in preparing work that is insightful and tells an engaging story.  
  • Contribute to the implementation of best practices to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Support the development of thought leadership and POVs relating back to client objectives
  • Support the optimization of internal processes related to tools, analysis, reporting and training

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in key industry research tools; Vivvix, Pathmatics, Vividata, Numeris, Statista, Mintel, Foresight Factory, Google Insights Finder, Google Trends, Facebook Insights, Warc, eMarketer/Insider Intelligence, Forrester, Euromonitor, MTM, SimilarWeb, SEMRush, Instar/Lens, Comscore, Commspoint, COMMB, Environics
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate+ skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, aligning department initiatives with organizational goals
  • Experience in managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering Business Intelligence solutions that meet or exceed expectations
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to drive collaborative Business Intelligence efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights out of big data
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of business planning (eg. media fundamentals, consumer segmentation, customer journey, measurement models, budget setting, etc.)
  • This role requires flexibility and a commitment to organizational growth
  • Capacity to manage concurrent projects adeptly, and navigate situations with ambiguous information
  • Ability to motivate team members & foster an inclusive culture
  • Ability to manage 1-2 direct reports
  • Strong written and presentation/public speaking skills, with proven experience with client presentation and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • This is a hybrid role with in-person attendance required 3-4 days per week
