The role
As a Client Delivery Director, it’s your responsibility to create an optimal client process, delivering promised, desired or expected results, and empowering the team to become self-directed. This is all aimed at increasing customer satisfaction, commercially growing and the client unlocking value for our clients.
Focused on the day-to-day needs of the team and the seamless delivery of all scoped responsibilities, this role will partner across workstreams and capabilities to translate scope into plans. The Client Delivery Director will also work to understand the evolution of client needs throughout the year and ensure the team is staffed appropriately to manage these adjustments.
This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities for organic growth from existing projects and proactively framing multi-disciplinary solutions to meet those needs. For the clients, this person will be a senior member of the team who is readily available to take on ad hoc requests, drive solutions to problems, and ensure everything is being managed successfully.
Success in this role is defined by everything being delivered on time with quality to meet or exceed client expectations.
 
What you’ll do  
Delivery Leadership 
  • As a Client Delivery Director, you will work as an integral member of the client team. You will play a key role in the management of, communication about and coordination across multiple teams ( multimarket Benelux). You will design, implement and run simple and efficient program governance processes. 
  • You build strong relationships across the agency and client team to ensure visibility, clarity, collaboration and strategic alignment. 
  • You will be a strategic problem solver as well as an effective business operator.  You will partner with various teams to look holistically at account financials, utilization data and capacity management.  You will work with teams to ensure strategic alignment with client and agency priorities. 
  • You will work across exciting workstreams and teams, solving unexpected issues, and facilitating collaboration  to stay on track. A can-do, roll-up your sleeves attitude to problem solving is essential and making sure you work with people from the client, GroupM, WPP and within the local markets to find solutions in a timely manner is key.
  • You will help identify opportunities for organic growth and collaborate across practices to build proactive solutions for client challenges.  Ensuring we have clearly articulated scope and outcomes to frame each potential project. 
  • Supporting Client lead on top-to-top communications and relationship management
Delivery Operations   
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Director to monitor contract management. This involves not only tracking financial aspects but also ensuring compliance with contractual rules and regulations from our clients
  • You will also be responsible for creating effective workflows within the team and making optimal use of available tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. This not only streamlines our processes but also ensures we deliver top-notch service to our clients consistently.
  • You will also assist in creating and curating materials for client Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring the information presented is accurate, relevant, and valuable for strategic decision-making.
  • You will also be responsible for setting up team meetings with the goal of empowering the team. By creating relevant content and facilitating discussions, you’ll help the team make informed decisions and foster a strong, cohesive unit that consistently delivers high-quality work.
  • You should be passionate about helping Mindshare to build a best-in-class delivery management culture focused on emotional maturity, organisational agility and continual improvement.  When needed you’ll coach workstream and initiative leads.
  • You will also oversee process audits, ensuring that our operations align with established standards and identifying areas for improvement. This critical function helps maintain the quality of our work and drives continuous improvement within the team.
  • Partnering with finance teams on account financials (Forecast vs Actuals)
  • You will also be in charge of Capacity Planning & Management. This involves assessing the team’s workload and resources to ensure that we have the necessary capacity to meet project deadlines and deliverables without compromising on quality. It’s about making sure the right people are working on the right tasks at the right time.
Who you are
  • 7-9 years experience in Business Analysis, Project Management or Management Consulting within a consulting firm or holding company ; working knowledge of marketing and media a strong plus
  • Equal parts project manager, process designer, change manager and strategic thinker
  • Able to translate strategic vision and priorities into operational reality
  • Drives results and expected outcomes
  • Quintessential planner who can plot the course from start to finish, identify and mitigate risks, and can seamlessly shift between the strategic and tactical
  • Adapt collaborator comfortable fostering relationships and working across all levels both internal and client
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Challenger of status quo and change agent
  • Proficient at designing and implementing efficient, effective ways of working that leveraging technology and automation where possible to work smarter not harder
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and storytelling skills including ability to tailor message based on audience both in Dutch & English
  • While not a requirement, knowledge and experience in Media & Marketing will be considered a plus.
Other core skills:
  • Knowledge of project management, collaboration and knowledge sharing tools such as Teams/SharePoint, Planner, Miro, Wrike
  • Lifelong learner who is comfortable leaning into unknown subject areas and quickly gaining working knowledge and understanding
  • Understands how to operate in a matrixed organization taking day-to-day direction from client based teams and adhering to practice / craft specific standards
