Mindshare, MENA, part of Mindshare EMEA, spans 11 offices across markets (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq) with local market teams and leads, reporting into the MENA CEO. In addition to the Markets, Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development, Digital and Solutions, and Growth & Client Leadership.

In this role, your goals will be:
 
In three months:
  •  Get to know our client and immerse yourself in their business.
  •  Ensure delivery of work to a high standard and in a timely manner.
 
In six months:
  •  Have developed a good understanding of the clients’ category.
  •  Be leading client WIPs and managing key relationships.
In 12 months:
  •  Be well-respected by your client for your knowledge and service.
  •  Have built a deep and influential relationship with day-to-day media contacts.
  •  Have contributed to the EssenceMediacom culture through participation and behavior that aligns to the EssenceMediacom 
  •  Have cemented your role within the team and contributed to the team delivery and success of a variety of client campaigns. 
 
What your day looks like at Mindshare:
  •  Deliver and strategize best in class media plans, on time and with the know-how to manage your way through any bumps in the road.
  •  Understand all media channels (in particular the digital landscape) with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering on the client objectives.
  •  Stay abreast of market trends and movements with regards to supply, innovation, and technology, have a point of view and bring these to your planning solutions.
  •  Negotiations with media not just pushing down on price but collaborating to drive innovation and add tangible value to clients.
  •  Identify and clearly articulate what is working and why linking media performance to business goals.

What you will need:
  •  4 years minimum of experience in media planning. 
  •  Solid knowledge of Middle East media landscape and the key publishers.
  •  Be technical and digital savvy and have a solid knowledge of all the digital platforms.
  • B2B marketing experience is a plus
  •  To have the ability to confidently communicate with the clients and to manage their expectations.
  •  Ability to proactively manage business relationships, working to tight deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  Prior client management in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
  •  Undergraduate qualification in advertising, marketing, communication, or similar field preferred.
