Mindshare UK has executed a launch plan for a new service called Our Frontline, a partnership between Shout, Samaritans, Mind, Hospice UK and The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Our Frontline offers 24/7 one-to-one support, by call or text, to frontline workers who are in crisis. Frontline health, care, emergency and key workers are under immense pressure in the fight against coronavirus. This service helps to give them the right support with their mental health both now and in the future.
Jem Lloyd-Williams, Mindshare UK CEO, volunteers regularly for Shout, a suicide crisis text line which is supported by the Royal Foundation and part of the Our Frontline partnership. Shout is a 24/7 text service for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere – just text 85258. After speaking to Tor Hornby, Shout CEO, about the Our Frontline partnership Jem put together a team of Mindshare volunteers to help put this campaign into action.
The Mindshare UK team of volunteers including, Jem Lloyd-Williams, Emily Scovell and Scott Whitton conceived, executed and consulted on the project, gratis, to help build a national launch campaign this week. The team worked with And Rising to launch with VoD (via Finecast), OOH (Kinetic), display (via Xaxis) and other media owners to reach those key workers who may be in need of some support.
