Balance Week

In the lead up to World Mental Health day in October, Mindshare Balance hosted a week of virtual events to help support employees’ physical and mental well-being.

Mindshare Balance, the employee led well-being initiative, acknowledges that people are an agency’s number one priority and asset. Only through supporting and nurturing those people, both mentally and physically, can they reach their true potential.

In the week of virtual events, there were a series of sessions and activities covering a range of important well-being topics and issues. Sessions and topics included breathing techniques, workouts, yoga, meditation, reiki, Black Minds Matter, National Coming Out Day roundtable, safe rooms, climate change anxiety and a discussion with Victoria Horny, CEO of Mental Health Innovation UK.

The week was a great success, many people found it really beneficial to take time out of their days to focus on their well-being and the variety of events meant there was something for everyone.

The last year has been extremely challenging and difficult for us all and has had an impact of many people’s mental health. In the Mindshare Worldwide office this year, we also launched our Mental Health Allies programme. The Mental Health Allies are a volunteer group of people available as a confidential ear to listen to any personal or work issues any of our Purple family might have.

Looking after one another is a priority at Mindshare.
