During the last year, #TeamMindshare Worldwide has stayed connected through a range of virtual events, from live cook-alongs and origami tutorials to workouts and meditation sessions.
On ‘Workout Wednesdays’ many of us embarked on a shamanic meditation journeys with #TeamMindshare’s own Kerstin Liener-Millar and our resident workout host Nacho Del Olmo kept us moving with HIIT workout motivation on Microsoft Teams calls. We were also lucky enough to have Kelly from East London Pilates helping us to keep healthy postures during our work from home stints with 20-minute Pilates sessions and our very our Emiro Mendoza kept us mobile with yoga sessions.
Mindshare Italy’s Rosa Lamartire kept us all going through the first lockdown with weekly cooking sessions, the team learnt how to make authentic Italian dishes such as pasta con pomodorini and melanzane alla parmigiana. We also learnt how to do some origami and bake cupcakes with Callie in aid of Macmillan Coffee Morning.
What’s more, Mindshare Roots hosted Netflix Parties where we watched important movies and shows together. We took our Books at the Bar bookclub online and connected over the books we’d read and we had many interesting and important talks about DEI initiatives throughout the year.
These events have helped our mental and physical wellbeing and given us some of the social interactions that have been vital to help us all through the last year. Staying connected has and continues to be a priority for #TeamMindshare while we can’t be together physically.
