Keeping a fluid mindset. Embracing this specific behavior has been very important in my life in general - from changing the route of a media recommendation to taking a new role, working for another client, or moving to a different country.
Making decisions with (more) peace of mind is easier when you know that just a few things in life are indeed permanent and if one specific route ends up not working as expected, there’s likely room to pivot and go after a different scenario.
Resilience. To me, last year really tested our ability to bounce back quickly while continuing to keep fighting for our core values. 2021 was about going an extra mile to drive business performance under a never ending pandemic, getting closer to each other and being truly empathetic, in addition to continuing to raise our voices against inequality and the major social issues in our society. It was definitely a challenging year but made us better and stronger to face 2022.
Overall, I think teams should really embrace the shift of paradigm that comes with hybrid work. People should invest in establishing their borderless network: from connecting with mentors and specialist squads to advocating for having the best talent embedded in their team, no matter where they’re located.
Developing a work environment where virtual and in person teams can have the same voice is also key, in addition to giving team members personal space across Mindshare’s hubs while allowing them to have professional environments at their own homes. With connection, balance and respect, I believe hybrid teams will take our capabilities to the next level.
My inspiration is fed by being constantly curious around three main pillars: people, creativity and technology. I love connecting with inspiring individuals and understanding more about their journey and their way of thinking. Reading & watching content related to creativity is also part of my daily routine - although I don’t enjoy getting lost every single day, across dozens of tabs in Google Chrome around my random topics of interest. Last but not least, technology makes me feel the more I learn, the less I know. Therefore, the journey of trying to understand more about what’s available and how new tech can drive a positive impact truly fascinates me.
