#TeamMindshare believes in Speed, Teamwork and Provocation. As we adjust to working differently, we're continuing to empower people to challenge the status quo, through what we call Provocation with Purpose. We’re proud to be unmistakably #TeamMindshare and make it the place where we do the best work of our career, grow and have fun. Hear from Jennifer on how she's adapted, what her biggest learning is and how she stays inspired.
The narrative you shape for yourself matters. If you continually tell yourself that you are not good at something, or there’s something you don’t do, then guess what? You won’t be good at it, and you’ll never do it. I have learned that changing the story I tell myself (in my own head) changes the way I approach things, and this generally helps me be more optimistic and open to trying new experiences.
Manic, lol? I’ve had highs and lows, often within a matter of minutes of each other, and I keep telling myself this is completely normal We are all going through a lot of change, and moments are fleeting. Having ( and remembering) my long term goals helps me cope in the moment.
Embrace your flow state when you feel it. When I’m feeling energized, productive and ticking through my to-dos, I try to push through just a little bit more for a little bit longer. This way, when I’m feeling a bit less productive, I don’t get too down on myself for slogging through.
One of my favorite bands said it best: “Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.” Nature is always at the top of my list for finding inspiration, and I love going for a hike in a quiet place with lots of trees to look at. I’ve also embraced a few hobbies- wood whittling, gardening, fishing, puzzles... anything that gets me away from my home office works!
