We’re proud to be unmistakably #TeamMindshare, and make it the place where we do the best work of our career, grow and have fun.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, paying tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America's history and are instrumental in its future success. This month, we're proud to highlight members of #TeamMindshare's AAPI community. Hear from Krishna on what her biggest learning is, how she stays inspired, and more.

Biggest learning from your career?

Setting boundaries is so important, both professionally and personally. It has helped me create a work-life-balance while also making sure me and my team stay organized in our fast-paced world. There will always be those projects that take a little longer than expected but managing expectations and communicating clearly with clients and internally has always been the key to executing anything successfully. Personally, it’s helped me make time (mentally and physically) for things I enjoy doing outside of work too.

One word to describe the last year?

Perseverance. It’s been a year of challenges and adjustment that has come with some great pros as well as cons. Making the most out of a day means different things to different people, but at the end of the day, persevering through the ups and downs is what makes us human.

What is the best advice you can give for hybrid working?

Respect and be flexible with each other. Everyone has their own personal hurdles, different work styles and commitments. With being mostly remote the last couple years and working with team members across the country/world, making time to connect is important (for both work and team relationships). Value and trust different ways of working and adjust to find the most optimal approach for your own team  - it’s not a one size fits all.

How have you stayed inspired?

Finding time for the little things – taking a walk on a sunny day, planning a virtual team hangout, booking that workout class, or cooking a new dish. It’s easy to get caught up in project deadlines and the volume of deliverables can become exhausting but stepping away or switching gears for the evening can bring a new perspective the next morning.
