#TeamMindshare believes in Speed, Teamwork and Provocation. As we adjust to working differently, we're continuing to empower people to challenge the status quo and drive Good Growth for our clients and the industry. Growth isn’t just a flash in the pan, but it’s enduring, diversified, and more sustainable over time. We’re proud to be unmistakably #TeamMindshare, and make it the place where we do the best work of our career, grow and have fun.
Today is International Women's Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of women throughout the years to our culture and society. Hear from Shannon, one of #TeamMindshare's strong and passionate leaders, on how she's adapted, what her biggest learning is, and how she stays inspired.
Remain curious. It’s almost impossible to keep up with the pace of change in the marketplace or consumer habits, but a life-long learner remains excited about the possibilities. This job is essentially matching message to moments of receptivity and keeping pace with change is the easiest way to separate shiny objects from worthy new approaches to keep it fresh. Curiosity will help you rise to the challenge of future-proofing your client’s business.
Optimism. Having a “glass-half-full” outlook in the short-term has meant envisioning the best outcomes and what collaborations will bring them about. Considering our expectation that 2021 was going to be a return to normal, and it just never materialized, Optimism translated into tenacity to find new ways of making our team feel as one, and continue to conceive and build solutions, and most importantly, to find the fun while balancing it all.
Find something that makes you feel good and sprinkle it throughout your work week. Thanks to WFH, I now get multiple endorphin delivery moments daily – whether from my kids interrupting my work to cuddle when they arrive home from school, or just taking a moment between calls to hang out with my dog. I’m really missing the camaraderie of being together with the team at the office, but family time is fleeting, and the Pandemic has been amazing for togetherness. The loss of a daily commute has increased the cuddle-quotient as well as productivity.
Change seems to find me before I seek it, but with every new assignment or team I’ve been dropped into, required learning curves and new categories to understand have reinvigorated me. “Fake-it-till-you-make-it” is the best way to elevate and be inspired because “making it” means your new capabilities have taken hold.
