Meet: Dani Musachia

This week, we are featuring Dani Musachia, a Senior Associate Planner from our Chicago office.

Summarize what you do in one sentence:
I am a media planner who collaborates with investment teams to ensure success when executing media plans for our clients.

What do you think is the most exciting thing happening in media right now?
I think the most exciting thing happening in media right now is the boom of streaming services. More and more people are becoming cord cutters and choosing to stream instead. Originally there were only a select few streaming services to choose from, but it continues to grow with additions of Disney+, Peacock, Quibi, and more. It will be interesting to watch the evolution of streaming in the coming years as the market continues to oversaturate.

Who inspires you?
My parents are my biggest inspiration. They are extremely hard working and always go out of their way to help others. They inspire me to live my life with empathy and always act with integrity.

What makes Mindshare stand out?
Mindshare stands out because of the many opportunities the company offers and its collaborative culture! Mindshare has an incredible portfolio of clients and they encourage employees to interact with different pieces of business in order to foster growth. For instance, I have had the opportunity to work on four different clients in my time at Mindshare. Additionally, the agency consistently hosts opportunities to gain insights and learn, whether it be vendors showcasing their newest offerings to internal teams highlighting their best work to the whole agency.

What is number 1 on your bucket list?
My bucket list probably goes on for over a mile! But if I have to choose, I would choose the Galapagos Islands. I love nature and would be thrilled to see such a unique environment.

Provocation with purpose is ingrained in everything we do – how do you live by this every day?
The team I work with is always trying to think one step ahead for the client. We identify a point of interest with them and strive to take it a step further. For instance, our one client recently expressed enthusiasm surrounding sporting events. We decided to create a plan for the Super Bowl, even though this was not requested by the brand. This allowed our client to kickstart its thinking about the future and how to bring these ideas to reality.

What would you do with your 15 minutes of fame?
I would want to be like Greta Thunberg and raise awareness on a significant issue with my 15 minutes of fame.
