Meet Joe Shieh

Mindshare Unplugged spotlights and interviews #TeamMindshare’s rising talent across North America. Everything we do is about teamwork. We’re a team that is radically honest – we call this our Authenticity Quotient. We are curious and competitive – that’s our Passion Quotient. We embrace teamwork and adaptability – that’s our Emotional Quotient.

This week, we are featuring Joe Shieh, Digital Investment Group Manager from Atlanta.

Summarize what you do in one sentence.
I'm there to ensure that my team has all the tools they need to succeed in their position and remove any potential obstacles, all while making sure we keep our clients happy with our digital activations.

Proudest professional moment so far?
I actually used video game knowledge to help optimize budget efficiency for a client. All those years of gaming DID lead to something worthwhile!

What inspires you?
The little moments in life. I think people can get so caught up in the big stuff that they forget to relish in the little things. And honestly, it's those little things that truly bring about joy.

What makes Mindshare stand out?
Having worked in different facets in this industry, every company likes to be a "cool company." But, unlike those other companies who only talk about it without action, Mindshare actually lives it.

What would you do with your 15 minutes of fame?
Do something so it only becomes 5 minutes of fame. I like the luxury of shopping anonymously at Target.

How do you live by the value of teamwork?
By realizing that no matter how much of an expert you are in a particular space, having a strong team will always produce a more efficient and higher-quality result. Basically, why be a single Power Ranger when you can all work together and be a Megazord?
