Our USA team won in the Native Marketing and Print categories for Dove’s Project #ShowUs. The campaign aims to shatter stereotypes by reshaping stock imagery to redefine beauty. 70% of women say they don’t feel represented in the images they see daily. Dove created the world’s largest stock photo collection of over 5,000 images, created by women and non-binary individuals.
The mission to better represent women in media came to life through a ground-breaking partnership with Hearst. Magazines took unprecedent steps, committing to replace photoshoots with Project #ShowUs images, highlighting stories of the women in the collection, and showing the importance of self-expression through unique images.
Mindshare Canada also won in the Media Plan category for Dove’s Men+Care #TakeTheTime campaign, which drove the conversation about parental leave after new legislation was passed in the country.
