Celebrating Mindshare Day

Every year, GroupM’s Mindshare celebrates Mindshare Day in November—an event that marks our birthday and celebrates our teams and communities worldwide. This year, our offices globally marked the occasion with volunteer activities across our local communities.

In the U.S., that included the following:

• Atlanta: Volunteering with Atlanta Community Food Bank, an organization that’s committed to fighting hunger. 
• Chicago: Volunteering with Cradles to Crayons, an organization that’s focused on ending children’s clothing insecurity—providing children with affordable, appropriate clothing. 
• Detroit: Volunteering at the Michigan Humane Society, an organization focused on animal welfare and sheltering, and at the Capuchin Services Center, which provides emergency food and clothing to families and individuals in need. 
• Los Angeles: Volunteering at My Friend’s Place, an organization that helps young people experiencing homelessness. 
• New York: Volunteering with several organizations, including Partnership with Children (which supports the emotional, social, and cognitive needs of kids so that they can succeed in school and in life) and Getting Out Staying Out (also known as GOSO, which supports people impacted by the justice system and works to reduce recidivism). 
• Remote: Our remote team members are doing a wide range of things, from getting trained in CPR (Mindshare set this up for interested remote employees in the U.S.), to helping their local schools, to working on donation drives for clothing essentials, holiday gifts, and more.
