Congratulations to our own Joey-lyn Addesa, Managing Director, Strategic Planning – she’s been named a finalist in Ad Age’s Creativity Awards, in the category of Media Planner of the Year!
As Ad Age puts it, the contenders in this category have “demonstrated a flair to for bringing innovation to media planning. They’ve leveraged the vast media offerings in unexpected ways to successfully communicate a brand’s message and deliver an engaging brand experience – in ways perhaps we’ve never seen before.”
That describes Joey-lyn perfectly. A dedicated leader and a passionate cross-channel storyteller, she’s constantly working with clients on big ideas that aren’t just provocative for their own sake, but provocative with purpose. With a wide range of industry experience (fun fact: she actually pioneered one of the industry’s first-ever influencer programs 11 years ago, when she was working in public relations), today she leads strategic planning with skin cleansing, deoderant, and homecare brands on Unilever at Mindshare.
Joey-lyn’s finalist nod comes on the heels of numerous other accolades for Mindshare leaders, including The Internationalist’s Agency Innovators (Brian DeCicco, Executive Director, FAST Lead, North America), She Run’s It’s Working Mothers of the Year (Laura Powers, Managing Director, Client Leadership), and Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Madison Avenue (for Rachel Lowenstein, Partner, Associate Director, Invention+).
A full list of finalists can be found in Ad Age, with the winners to be announced at a ceremony on April 15.
