We're thrilled to announce two teams from Mindshare have been shortlisted in the nationwide competition! Standing out amongst 200 entries, Ann Kelsey and Megan Dacey and Megan Fowler and Megan Bradley are two of six teams in total in the Media Young Lions Competition, who will go through to the final stage, taking place later this year. We asked them to share their work with us.
Our idea is to hijack the 2020 presidential election by running a simultaneous presidential campaign for young candidates diagnosed with cancer: #Iwanttobepresident2052. We promise 100% of all funds will go towards ensuring they live long enough to run when they're eligible in 2052.
Kicking off on the most patriotic day of the year, July 4th, CureSearch will rally at corporations across the country with the first presidential campaign unrestricted by media, with candidates fully and ethically funded by corporations. Read more about it here.
Our idea is to attract corporate donors by offering a virtual workplace currency where employees can thank each other for going the extra mile by sending CureCoins. Each time a CureCoin is sent, a donation to CureSearch is applied.
A reward of 1 extra vacation day goes to the employee who has received the most CureCoins. This creates a cycle within the workplace of positive actions with quantifiable rewards, and draw in corporations with the promise of enhancing company culture and promoting growth. Read more about it here.
